The 2023-24 season for the UT Permian Basin women's basketball team will be one, people remember for a long time. They won 10 games in a row, 12 straight at home and finished the regular season with school best 24-8 overall record. On top of that during the season four players scored their 1,000th point of their career and countless amount of records were broken. The success in the regular season continued in the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament as they made it all the way to the championship game, which was a first in program history. Additionally, the Falcons earned the No. 4 in the NCAA South Central Regional tournament.
