The UT Permian Basin baseball team had their best season since 2009 – finishing the regular season with a 35-25 overall record. The Falcons broke countless amount of records throughout the season and had four athletes – Ethan Flodstrom, Carson Johnson, Mason Hamlin and Jack Haggerty earn Lone Star Conference honors.

The success they had in the regular season and in the Lone Star Conference Championships – making it all the way to the championship game - led to them earning the No. 5 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional tournament.
