The UT Permian Basin men's basketball team had a great year during the 2023-24 season. They finished with a 17-11 overall record, 12-10 in Lone Star Conference play and 11-4 home record - which is the best finish the Falcons have had since the 2017-18 season.
The success they had on the court, led to the Falcons having three athletes - Lathaniel Bastian, Keyon Craddock, Alex Matthews - earn LSC All-Conference honors.
The Falcons also exceled in the classroom, as Keyon Craddock, DJ Armstrong, Lathaniel Bastian, Maison Adeleye and Ty Briscoe were named to the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
The Falcons only had two seniors and brought in a handful of new players for the 2024-25 season, as they are on the verge of a breakout season.
